BOOTLEGGER: another word for a smuggler, and in this case, the name of our newest West Coast IPA!This lightly copper coloured beer is a collab with BC’s Smugglers Trail Caskworks and came to life with a hefty dry hop of Vic Secret hops from Hops Connect, a Canadian hop supplier.Along with the Vic Secret, it features Chinook and Simcoe hops which come together to create a big West Coast IPA with a malty, biscuity base and a bitter bite (say that ten times fast). The aroma is resinous, piney and dank, with tropical undertones and candied fruit notes on the finish.And no, don’t even think about sneaking this one past us.
