Brewers Choice - Barleywine

For our brewers choice beer in Manchester we made our annual homage to all things malty in the form of an English Barleywine. With a base blend of maris otter and heritage chevalier malt, with small additions of Munich and medium colour crystal malt for complexity and fruitiness. The beer was then aged on Bourbon oak chips for four weeks adding aromas of vanilla and oak, with a smooth and sweet finish.
