We are proud to be part of the Bract Brewing Project, testing out experimental varieties grown by NZ Hops.NZH-102 was put into the ground the same time as NZH-101, several years ago. This is not going to be your most pungent hop but my goodness, what it does in a beer with a hop combo it's exceptional. It is currently the highest oiled hop variety in the NZ Hop line up and those oils are very balanced. It has won several accolades already and I reckon that this hop will be a feature in many beers as a base hop. It can pull all sorts of flavours from other hops that haven't been achieved before.- Brent McGlashen, Hop GrowerNZH-102 has good all-round bittering and dry-hopping potential with a broad oil content, presenting as tropical, pine and slightly floral/grassy. As with our previous release (NZH-101), the pellets displayed a very fresh character and nice putty-like consistency during the brew day, where we brewed a clean pale ale to allow the hops to shine as much as possible,
