Coconut Coffee Medianoche starts with a carefully selected blend of Medianoche batches aged for 18-21 months in 7-14 year bourbon barrels. After barrel aging, the beer was conditioned on more than 3 lbs per gallon of toasted coconut flakes and raw coconut chips, then finished with over 150 lbs of medium roast Peruvian coffee from our friends at Mostra. Mostra sourced a special lot of Peru Finca Matapalo coffee specifically for this project, which was honey processed and distinguished as a 2019 Cup of Excellence entry.
