Bourbon barrel aged & dry hopped sour ale. With this beer we were inspired by the famous words of Captain Kirk from Star Trek: to boldly go where no man has gone before!A beer that taps from all kinds of unusual kegs. We let a Belgian-inspired beer (think of a Rochefort 6) sour in Bourbon barrels for almost two years through lactic acid bacteria. And then we dry hopped it with Idaho 7 and Talus hops. This results in a complex, full-bodied sour beer with some tropical fruit in aroma and taste. The beer is named after the Afrofuturistic cult film by Sun Ra from 1972. And as he puts it “The possible has been tried and failed. Now it's time to try the impossible!".
