Brevis IPA

"Brevis" refers to the strain of lactobacillus that was used to kettle sour *half* of this IPA. By souring just one half of the batch, the tartness is restrained, keeping it in balance with the bitterness of the base beer, while the hop bill contributes notes of tropical fruit and coconut. This is actually the second time we've brewed this beer - the first was a collaborative project with our friends at Baltimore's Monument City Brewing Co. A very unique beer.
