'Tis the Saison

Saison means 'season' in French and was made for harvest workers historically. But everyone here is a hard worker and needs this refreshment. Using a Saison yeast and fermenting warm has produced some excellent banana and even clove aromas. Additions of rye and noble hops has brought a bit of spice to the party. As a beer to be made with "what's available and around" we threw in a few bits of Huell Melon and Calista hops to fit in line with the style.The beer drinks dry, a bit funky and easy.
