Big, malty and rich. This beer is all about the malt, along with some nice complementary fruit characters from a special Scottish-style yeast. Unlike some other examples of the style, this beer features no (controversial) peat-smoked malt. We’ve used a complex grist comprising a number of different British and European malts. Malty, toffee and nutty, with supporting orchard fruit and stone fruit characters.
