Enter the cookhouse for a meal of oats and maple and coffee, wafting wood-fire smoke around you.We brewed this breakfast stout with 30 litres of pure New Brunswick maple syrup (Dumfries Maples), oodles of organic New Brunswick oats (Speerville Flour Mill), smoked wheat malt from Bamberg, and aged it on 3kg of day-of-roasted coffee beans from Milltown Roasters in Fredericton. The result is a deeply roasty, bold, hearty breakfast stout with hints of background smoke, fresh coffee, and maple. An homage to the men and women of the New Brunswick spring woods.
