Cubist Fragmentation

Cubist Fragmentation was made from a blend of two imperial stouts; one aged for 18 months in a Weller Bourbon barrel and the other for 16 months in a Maker’s Mark barrel. We loaded it up with hand roasted hazelnuts, vanilla beans, cacao nibs, and toasted coconut.. and boy do they all shine. It’s a gorgeous medley of flavors. They are all present, without one elbowing out any of the others, vying for attention. There’s a fatherly bourbon booziness that gathers and lifts the four adjuncts in the warmest embrace.
