In this series we've decided to explore roasted malts in depth. At the base of our winter porter are 6 different types of barley malt, among which are also types of roasted malt at different levels that give the beer its dark color and a noticeable malty presence alongside flavors of roasting and hints of chocolate, caramel, coffee and even a little vanilla. Both body and mouthfeel are rich and full. In order to give the beer an additional layer of aroma and taste and to further explore the depths of the roasted flavors we added cocoa and orangel, enhansing the hinted note coming from the malt.
