In 2019 our first barrel-aged stout won the annual Christmas beer test in the largest Norwegian newspaper. After that we have made it a tradition to buy ourselves a fresh load of barrels for Christmas, in order to keep pushing for the creation of even more perfect barrel-aged beer.Tønnelagra (means barrel-aged in Norwegian) is the series where we play with the best from the best of two worlds. For this Christmas, we aged a imperial stout on rye whiskey barrels for six months and hope you are as pleased with the result as we are.
