More malty than an American IPA and more hoppy than an English barley wine, this beer is the bridge between two countries and two styles of robust beer. Brewed with malted barley and wheat, the beer was hopped exclusively with varieties from the northwestern United States. Drink it fresh to appreciate the aromas of raw hopping or wait a bit to discover its evolutionary character. In any case, it goes wonderfully with sweet and savory appetizers, or strong cheeses.
