This traditional German Lager is brewed with heirloom malts and carries notes of biscuit, caramel and herbal spice.Steinbock is a traditional German-style Maibock, lighter in color and body than kindred bocks and crafted for supreme drinkability. Our brewers utilized heirloom Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich “Barke” malts in this grain bill, a small-scale project from the legendary Wyermann maltsters. Underneath its sticky cap of white foam, these resurrected varieties bring complex notes of biscuit and malty caramel that fade into a sweetness. Complimenting its rustic grain bill, Hallertau and Saphir hops carry subtle notes of herbal spice and mild florality.
