Black Is Beautiful

Our version is a dark mahogany with subtle notes of orange and chocolate. Almonds were added to lend a smoothness to the mouthfeel and help balance the roasted dark malt character. The original Weathered Souls recipe called for a 10% abv beer but Brewer Sam wanted a lower abv to “ be able to drink a few while having prolonged discussions on inclusion.” 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Westside Justice Center whose goals include protecting Constitutional rights, holding community events, and ensuring low-income people have access to fair and just criminal justice system in courts and jails.
