At New Park Brewing, Fat Tuesday (2/25) will become Fat Stout Day! We will be releasing Rook, our biggest and thickest stout yet.Rook was brewed with a careful blend of our favorite dark roasted malts, utilizing every technique we know to create the most thick, luscious, and complex stout we have ever made. Notes of dense chocolate cake, dark caramel, melted coffee ice cream, and old bourbon. 13.5% abv.We went ahead and created 4 separate treatments for the base stout: Coconut, Hazelnut, J.René Coffee Roasters Sumatra Kerinci Coffee, and Bourbon barrel. We were pretty heavy handed with these, and are very happy with the outcome. We will have one 5-gallon keg of each treatment available for 8 oz pours in our tap room only.
