Smoked Barleywine made with 100% smoked malt at a rate of 1kg per litre of finished beer. We used equal quantities of malt smoked from 4 different woods, Beechwood, Cherrywood, Manuka & Mesquite. We used a reiterated mash technique & a 2.5 hour boil to create this intense flavour sensation, best described as smoked bacon jerky.
