Marshmallow variant of our Honey Hazelnut Crisp. We have been enjoying the distinctive velvet nougat-like flavor honey has imparted in some of our recent stouts. For our latest creation, we boiled up a stout with a touch more chocolate malts for a dark cocoa truffle base before adding hazelnuts, honey, and Madagascar vanilla.Honey Hazelnut Crisps pours pitch black with a mocha froth. Aromas of dark chocolate and your favorite hazelnut spread waft up from the glass with flavors of super fudge toasted hazelnut brownies, nutty caramel honey wafer chocolate bars, and whipped vanilla frosting. The sweetness is balanced out by the roasty malts and the texture makes this a liquified dark chocolate hazelnut honey filled truffle.
