Honey ale aged in oak barrels with nectarines & vanilla.In this version of East Bank, our honey farmhouse ale, we aged it in Bourbon barrels for months then added whole fruit at a rate of about two pounds per gallon. Once the fruit and the beer are balanced we added vanilia to accentuate the honey in the beer and heighten the flavors brought out by the Bourbon barrels.
