This is our take on the very famous cocktail of the same name. There's no bourbon in ours - but it did spend a whopping 18 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. All of the notes from the barrel - vanilla and oak, primarily - are present, along with a huge punch of bourbon-like aroma. After removing it from the barrel, we added dried spearmint, which comes through in a big way. The base beer was brewed with lactose sugar, meaning that the beer retains a bit of residual sweetness. This is a complex way to celebrate the end of what has been a complex year. Here's to 2022!
