Maauuuuiiii Woowwwwwiiiiieee!Finally, another West Coast IPA on tap! This one was inspired by the hop geniuses @freestylehops, who have developed a concentrated liquid hop solution, infused with Pineapple Puree! Maui Nelson it is called. It is very wowie though, if you know what we mean…All this hoppy goodness surfs along a backbone of quality pale malts with a bit of crystal thrown in. Dropping in on the Maui hop wave is a piney & cirtusy team of Eclipse, Amarillo and Citra.The result is a citrus forward, pleasantly bitter IPA that finishes neatly on malty sweetness (with a twang of pineapple juice). Very drinkable at 7%, technically into the IIPA range!
