Day Trip Pale Ale is our first Summer Beer of 2020 - we originally brewed this beer at for a friend to celebrate a very special occasion - they asked if we could brew them a more summery Pale Ale, so we drew up a recipe and took the chance to use some hop combinations we have never used before along with some grain we do not usually use, and we were able to save a few bottles to offer for sale.Day Trip follows the same water treatment process as our Hafer Pale Ale, but features Amarillo and Chinook hops, along with some darker crystal malts and wheat malt. We hope you enjoy this light hoppy pale ale - we actually find it to have a much creamier mouthfeel than Hafer - but with a less pronounced bitterness.
