As the name suggests, sometimes you forget about things. Like maybe a Sazerac Rye whiskey barrel that was filled with Naked Chernobyl, our Montmorency and Balaton cherry mead, over 2 years ago. After 24 months in a barrel, this mead definitely picked up some wonderful barrel notes as well as soothing Polish-style micro oxidation notes. She’s big, boozy, and truly unique, so we just had to do a small bottle run to let y’all try it out. This is probably the smallest bottle run we have ever done in the 5 years we’ve been open, so it is EXTREMELY limited. Do not pass it up.
