Lee Cider is a collaboration between two independent, family owned, Irish drink producers, Rising Sons Brewery and Legacy Cider. This Cider is the culmination of several years of chat, tasting and more chat. Made from 100% fresh Irish apples, it’s a medium dry cider, very refreshing, not too sweet, perfect on it’s own or over ice.The legend behind the artwork, Louie (also called Lua or Lú in some accounts) was a fiery serpent who inhabited the lake at Goughan Barra. When St. Finbarr moved to the area to create a monastic community, it banished the serpent from the lake. During its escape to the sea, Louie’s wriggling tail formed the course of the River Lee.
