This porter has been matured over oak infused with a fine Scotch Whisky to give it its unique depth and complexity.Not as common in Scotland as they are in England, the origins of porters lie in early 18th century London. These beers were made for the street and river porters in the city, hence their name. Affordable, flavoursome and warming, porter was a favourite beer style with these London workers for years.
