The first of our barrel-aged experiments to come out of the incubator, a chance for our brewer, Sean Rynne, to play outside of the IPA world.This imperial stout has been resting in Starward whiskey barrels for the last 6 months. It’s thick and rich and complex.Hints of whiskey and oak and a slight savoury smokey note combined with beautiful dark fruits. A balanced bitterness to complement the intense sweetness.The perfect dessert paring or after dinner sipper.
