Our IPA-mad brewers usually let hops shine by using a shy, retiring, neutral strain of yeast. But, coming off the back of some tasty saisons brewed over summer, we decided it was time to give our little yeasty friends equal billing.Here we've used a fruity, spicy witbier yeast with a decent dose of Simcoe, Ella and Amarillo hops. Hoppy witbier or a White IPA? You can call our bluff.Brewed exclusively with and for Ritchies IGA, Victoria.Appearance: Straw gold with a noticeable haze.Aroma: Characteristic witbier phenolic esters complimented with floral and citrus hop notes.Flavour: Medium bodied with a dry finish and moderate bitterness.Malts: Pilsner, torrefied Wheat, Caramalt and flaked barley.Hops: Simcoe, Ella and Amarillo.Yeast: Wyeast Witbier.
