An explosion of flavours for the Christmas beer lovers. Falling into an undefinable category between Winter Warmer and Barley Wine, it is best defined as a quadruple eisbock (or quintuple?) – if such a thing existed. Should be shared and enjoyed in a tulip/cognac glass.Habits of cellaring this beer is often rewarded with yet more complex flavours and a slight note of tobacco emerging after a few years. First produced in 2010, recent samples of that production show that it has developed even more.A unique beer in every way, and probably the only one of its kind: Brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot (purity law) of 1516.
