In 2013 Swedish brewery Beerbliotek launched a beer to celebrate mine (Magnus) and Magnus at Benchwarmers Brewing's joint birthday.Now 11 years later, and to celebrate my 40th birthday we wanted to re-launch this tasty beer. Instead of a classic Red Ale we decided on a West Coast IPA, with a twist.We added a portion of vienna malt for some additional sweetness and beautiful red shine while all the favorite C-hops makes up the hop foundation. Columbus, Centennial and Chinook is paired with Rakau from our friends at Freestyle Hops, we found it the perfect addition to boost the notes of red berries we loved in the original MankerBeer Red.
