Equilibirum=Mostra Coffee Cuvée 2021

There is something equivocal about making great beer and great coffee. It comes from the quality of ingredients, technique, and passion; something we feel we share with @mostracoffee . We wanted to build another all encompassing project based on the 2021 blend that Mostra Coffee has created for us. This year’s blend for Equilibrium=Mostra Coffee Cuvée is composed of Mostra Philippine Sitio Belis, El Salvador San Isidro, Brazil Oberon, and Ethiopia Daya Bensa Coffee.After 14 months, we emptied a Willett barrel that held one our big base stouts. We then conditioned on this year’s blend of Equilibrium=Mostra Coffee Cuvée coffee beans. Pouring pitch black with a nice tan head, we get aromas of chocolate, caramel, bright zest, and fresh brewed coffee lead into a decadent blast of fudge brownie , complex raspberry jam, honey and caramel, smooth cold brew coffee, and a touch of bourbon barrel flavor with a velvet like finish.
