Oud Bruin, also called Flanders Brown, is a style of beer originating in the Flemish area of Belgium. The name refers to the long aging process, as this wild ale is aged in oak barrels for three years! Dark brown in colour due to malting, it has underlying malt flavours of toffee, while the tartness comes from the added cherries. Warm aged, not too sour, creamy and smooth, this is good stuff!
