In German, the word “Mai” translates to the month of May, and is a call out for when Helles Bocks are typically served. This style is a newer addition to the Bock family, compared to other variants like Doppelbock. Essentially a stronger version of the Helles style, Maibocks are malt-forward lagers that showcase the clean, simple characteristics of beer making at its finest. Expect aromas of fresh, toasty malts, a touch of floral hops, and a clean finish.
