Session Smoked Ale.Most of the laws of nature are formulated in term of partial differential equations; that is, an equations involving several variables and its derivatives.The existence and uniquenessof a solution to such problem is guaranteed by the Kovalevskaya Theorem, named after the Russian mathematician Sofya Kovalevskaya.Historically, this theorem is known as Cauchy Theorem because the scientific comunity of late 1800 could not stand the idea of a woman smarter than a man. Among others achievements and contributions, she has been the first woman obtaining a doctorate and full professorship.
