We like new things, especially trying new hops, and after a personal recommendation on HBC-586, an experimental variety from Sean at Hill Farmstead brewery we were excited to try it. Result...I don't think we have ever brewed a beer with this kind of explosion of aroma! Strawberry fields forever on the nose with ripe mangos just make you want to smell this beer all day. Left unfiltered this beer pours a hazy yellow and drinks a little like a hazy with a soft medium body, tropical hop flavours that meld into a firm-ish bitterness and some herb and citrus hop for a strong lingering finish.
