Meaning ‘Apple Tree’ in Cornish, Avalen is a naturally sparkling cider made with the finest hand-picked apples from our very first orchard, Keepscombe.Avalen is crafted the traditional way: after a tank fermentation in the cold Cornish winter, this cider undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle to impart deeper flavour and a natural fizz! After 3 months of ageing on the lees, we riddle and disgorge the yeast, leaving a refined cider that’s delicately sweet and well balanced.
