To celebrate the opening of Chase Mullen’s first museum exhibition Second Nature: Artworks by Chase Mullen, which opens March 15 at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum in Baton Rouge, we present Second Nature. “Mullen’s paintings are a contemporary take on southern wildlife and culture, heavily influenced by antique field guides and early scientific illustration. The artist carefully contextualizes the unique natural history of the south to convey underlying themes of nature, culture, and place.” We celebrate Mullen’s work with our take on one of the oldest classic beer styles in Germany, the Kölsch. Light, bright, and audaciously drinkable, Second Nature clocks in at 5% ABV beer and takes it easy.
