Strawberry Infidel

We were very fortunate to source some outstanding old vine Zinfandel grapes from California last fall. We combined these grapes with organic strawberries and orange blossom honey, then aged this pyment on French oak. Sweet strawberry is balanced with dark fruit and tannin from the Zinfandel grapes, rounded out beautifully with the subtle spice notes of French oak. Enjoy on a fresh, clean palate to take advantage of all the complexity this mead brings to the table.
