For our latest Offcut small batch experiment, we have split a single batch of IPA wort (which received neutral bittering additions only) between our two trial fermenters. These worts were fermented out with our house strain of ale yeast, and one dry hopped solely with NZ hop varieties, and the other with varieties from the United States. Possessing a dry but malty base with a firm bitterness, there is plenty of robustness in the base beer to stand up to all the dry hopping. We don’t want to give too much description of the hop character of each beer- we’d much rather you try them for yourself and see which hops are your favourite!
