Looks can be deceiving, this beer has been coloured with a de-husked black malt (Carafa Special 3) to bring darkness but to restrain roast as much as possible. Essentially it's a super-crisp beer made for the heat of summer, but has more colour than you're used to seeing in a pilsner. Very subtle chocolate with noble hopping to finish it off.
