Pale Ale Dry-Hopped with Idaho Gem® and CalistaCan Release 4/17 - $16We fermented Designer Baby with a Saccharomyces cerevisiae created by inserting the IRC7 gene from a wine strain into our typical house English ale through CRISPR-Cas9 technology. The enzyme the gene codes for frees additional fruity aromatics from bound thiols from the hops. For this snappy pale ale, we selected a blend of hops with watermelon, cherry candy, and grapefruit aromatics.
