Batchlands

A collab with our friends from Batch Brewing in Corktown, Detroit, MI.This is a home and home collaboration. We brewed a version of the beer here in Ontario, and they brewed one stateside at their brewery! For this beer we wanted to push big tropical notes, so we threw in some Tropics Boost (which is supposed to boost guava, passionfruit and grapefruit) and then fermented it with a yeast strain that frees bound thiols (also pro-tropical fruit notes).Hopped with Riwaka and Motueka, this beer gushes with notes of intense New Zealand hop expression. Red fruit, mojito lime, citrus, papaya and a whole lot of tropical fruit.Random fun fact: this is the 737th batch of beer we have brewed at Badlands!Second fun fact: the 1964 Ford Mustang (pictured on the label) was the first ever built and the first ever sold was in St Johns, Newfoundland!
