The Lounge R&D IPA series is a new take on our small batch experiments with different hop and malt combinations. The first of this series is an India Pale Ale brewed with Crystal, Citra, Simcoe Cryo & Columbus hops from First Employee Ever/Host of Tankin' It Easy, Adam Smith.Lounge R&D India Pale Ale will use Pale Ale Malt, adding more maltiness to offset the bitterness. In tandem with the aforementioned modern hops, we use Crystal hops which have noble lineage, with some mild aromatic spice, grapefruit, and orange zest citrus notes. The final product is a borderline tropical, pungent IPA with a heavy citrus character.
