First stout of the year, and straight away it’s a fun one! A sweeter styled Stout infused with ungodly amounts of your favourite 40% Choc Chip Cookies from the supermarket.No surprises as to how it tastes – a decadent mix of sweet, slightly oily and oh so delicious dark ale, layered with the caramel, chocolatey goodness from the cookies (pulverised and added to the fermenter for those of you playing at home). We also Salt Bae’d in a touch of Crème de Cacao extract, along with essence of marshmallow.It is certainly a treat to saviour, and one that has got us excited for dark beers for the cooler months!
