Roasted Paradox. (El pedregal - El Salvador)

A thick dark Imperial stout of 12.6%, this beer is drybeant with a generous amount of freshly roasted coffee from Single Estate Coffee Roasters. We used a coffee from El Salvador, to be exact the variety "el pedregal" . This coffee comes from the Finca San Francisco plantation, In the region around the Santa Ana volcano in El Salvador, The plantation is divided into so called "tablones" which vary in altitude from 1200 to 1700 meters. All these lots are hand-picked at peak ripeness and kept separate for processingTogether with Single Estate we chose this coffee to create an extra layer in the beer with notes of Nuts, Caramel and a full Roastyness.
