From a newspaper slinger then a cigar-business owner in his teens, to the owner of multiple breweries and a hefty wallet by his mid-twenties, Reading's own Max Hassel sure did hustle through the Prohibition era. He supplied beer to the thirsty masses with the government making every effort to stop him. Thankfully, today we can just focus on the beer. Hassel's Hustle, an American Pale Ale with notes of sweet lemon-lime, purple soda, and lemon verbena, is our shout-out to Reading's friendliest beer baron bootlegger!
