5% Scotch bitter brewed with Maris Otter and hopped with ErnestA collab with our esteemed pal Gareth at Epochal brewing.Drawing loosely on early 20th Century Scottish bitter recipes, the idea was to combine the drinkability of a classic, old bitter with the bright fruit character of Ernest.The beer was brewed with Maris Otter, a little crystal malt and a sprinkling of flaked barley before lots and lots of whole Ernest flowers were added to the boil. We then fermented warm with a fruity English ale strain.The resulting beer is a delight. Loads of fruit and loads of bitterness
