Taranaki - Home of the famous Rotary. Not the obnoxious Ford Escort disturbing your quiet neighborhood, rather the Rotary Cowshed, another genius innovation created under the shadow of Taranaki Maunga. Given two years to replace his four bail walk-through shed, Merv Hicks needed a solution that would meet both the needs of the inspector, and the cows themselves. As a result he revolutionised the dairy shed with a layout that would become implemented around the globe. We've brewed this stout beer to honour Hick’s Parlour, using lashings of milk sugar to balance its roasty flavours.
