King Coffee

We love light roast natural process coffees, and we love sticky imperial stouts... but this one is old school! We selected a vintage keg that is a little drier and roastier than most of our stouts. Then we infused it with super-fresh Intelligentsia Coffee Black Cat Espresso beans! It was the coffee of choice for most of that first "wave" of fantastic coffee stouts that came out of the Midwest 15-20 years ago (Indiana, Iowa, Illinois). Scott asked one of those brewers why he uses it, the response was that Black Cat just "tastes like coffee stout." After tasting this one, we agree!
