Our friends up at Manatawny Stillworks in Pottstown sent us a Rum barrel they had just emptied, and we quickly filled it with cider! After two months in the barrel, this dry cider is completely transformed. We get big Rum aromas on the nose, with a strong tannic backbone, and a smooth easy drinking cider with notes of light Rum, vanilla, and a woody sweetness throughout. Cheers!
