Brewed for the 18th annual Malthouse Westcoast IPA challenge (2025) – NZ’s premier IPA competition where the winners sup from a Golden gumboot. For this year’s challenge we brewed a homage to Zeus & Zuko, with a Greek mythology & Greese Lightnin’ inspired beer using Apollo (son of Zeus) hops.Big, punchy aroma with a heap of pine & grapefruit followed by pineapple and stone-fruit.A touch of caramel-malt sweetness adds to the ‘grapefruit-marmalade’ flavour & bitterness.
